We have recently updated our video eLearning authoring and creation software platform with 2 new question types, together with other cool new features, that help your users to learn more efficiently.
The way people expect to learn and interact with learning content is changing. Face-to-face lectures are being replaced with virtual, or video presentations. Jobs are changing, remote work is more common than ever, and this paradigm shift impacts how employees are onboarded, how they are trained, and how they learn. Simply put, traditional, face-to-face learning and training is being replaced with Multimedia Learning, or how we and many in the industry call it, eLearning.
eLearning is a learner-centered approach that presents audio and visual learning materials via information technology such as computers and mobile devices, making eLearning and concepts like mobile learning go hand in hand with each other.
A lot of research effort is dedicated to this new way of learning, areas and our video eLearning platform excels at exactly that: uQualio® takes advantage of these new learning mediums, allowing our users to reach and significantly impact learners in a playful, yet engaging way with gamified, bite-sized video eLearning courses.
Modern learning theory shows that eLearning and game-based learning have the potential to effectively impart skills and attitudes that are simply not possible with traditional teaching methods such as rote memorization and classroom-style lectures.
To keep up with modern learners and better engage our audience, at uQualio® we constantly monitor our users and customers’ feedback, designing and implementing our upgrades based on their input. The latest major updates are a result of our customers' need for more than multiple choice-style questions to accurately measure their learners’ understanding and competencies.
Therefore, we have added two new types of questions to your video eLearning courses:
- Poll Questions and
- Text Questions.
Text Question Editor Example
The question types allow learners to enter his or her impressions, create scenarios and provides ‘essay’ type responses.
