Employee Turnover in Spain
Updated: Jan 8, 2020
Employee turnover is a problem in the hospitality sector in Spain, according to Randstad Research's latest study on the future of the hospitality sector.
The hospitality sector is one of the most important in the national economy, making up 9.5% of the total number of people employed.
However, it faces high levels of staff turnover, which entails several problems for the growth of the sector in the short term. Some of the consequences of high turnover are the economic costs of hiring, the lack of follow-up to the client, the decrease in the quality of service provided or the loss of know-how that workers acquire based on experience.
